AFG Staff



Both Officers, Donna Kolsky, President, and Donna Flannery, Vice President, graduated from Seton Hall University with M.A.'s in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling in 1977. They both hold national certifications with the following commissions:

  1. Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRC)
  2. Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission (CDMS)
  3. Commission for Case Management Certification (CCM)

Co-owner, Donna Kolsky, holds national certifications in her field and has distinguished herself as an Employability Expert. She has been a court-appointed and joint expert on numerous matrimonial cases. It is in this arena that she has been called upon to provide Expert Testimony and she has demonstrated her expertise on sensitive legal matters throughout the State of New Jersey. She has garnered praise from the judiciary and from the legal community at large. Ms. Kolsky has been called upon to assess earning capacities in high profile cases for a range of occupations and career alternatives. She has become renowned in her field. Her skills in the field of Employability have been utilized by defense and plaintiff firms in injury and employment matters. Her reports are thorough and assisted in the imputation of an earning capacity.

Co-owner, Donna Flannery, holds national certification as a Life Care Planner, and has been instrumental in the legal community's recognition of Life Care Associates as a leader in the state of New Jersey. Life Care Associates provides services to some of the most recognized legal firms specializing in Personal Injury, Liability, and Medical Malpractice litigation. She also oversees the Medical Case Management Services. In addition to her dedication to the field of Life Care Planning, she has handled Wrongful Death cases and educated juries about the economic relevance of a 'Loss of A Caregiver' to the surviving Parents in the Wrongful Death of a Child. She has been qualified in courts in New Jersey and New York as an Expert in the field of Life Care Planning and as a Vocational Employability Expert providing opinions and testimony on matters of employability in liability, workers compensation, matrimonial, and for the National Labor Relations Board.

Vocational Experts/Vocational Case Managers:

All Vocational Experts hold degrees in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling or Psychology at the Masters Level and hold national certifications and licenses in vocational rehabilitation. Vocational staff members have been trained and qualified in Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Life Care Planners:

The Life Care Planners at Life Care Associates are nationally certified and trained in the field of Life Care Planning and are skilled professionals with educational backgrounds and qualifications in areas of:

  1. Vocational rehabilitation/disability case management
  2. Fields of nursing via avenues of medical case management, clinical nursing, and/or home care nursing

Medical Case Managers:

AFG's registered nurses have either Masters or Bachelors level degrees in specialized areas of Community Health, Teaching, and Health Administration and hold CRRN and/or CCM certifications. AFG's nurses also have special expertise in community health and home care, ICU/CCU and medical-surgical cases, orthopedics, rheumatology, neuromuscular, catastrophic injury, psychiatric, and pediatrics.

Job Placement Staff:

AFG facilitates timely and beneficial results in job placement with its staff of qualified and trained Bachelor level personnel. Job placement staff members develop and continually update its computerized job bank. All job development is coordinated by our counselors who are knowledgeable of the identified job goals individualized for each client. The job placement staff works closely with vocational case managers and clients to ensure that the clients' needs are met and placements are successful.
